At the age of 14 whilst watching a documentary on great photographers I realised I wanted to be a photographer. Shortly after, I convinced my mother to convert her laundry into my very own black and white darkroom.
This was the start of what was to become a life long passion.
I began my career in Sydney shooting for modelling agencies.
At the age of 20 I spent five months travelling through the Mediterranean, becoming immersed in the relaxed European approach to life; an incredible influence on my life. Since then I have made it a tradition to live on the Greek Island of Santorini for several months every European summer.
I established my first wedding studio in 1993, mainly photographing bridal fashion for various bridal designers and magazines in Sydney.
in 1995 I started focusing on photographing real weddings and since then I have captured over 1200 weddings.
Over the years my work has regularly appeared in various bridal blogs and magazines. I am also an Award Winning International photographer with the Wedding Photojournalist Association, the Artistic Guild of the WPJA and the prestigious Hasselblad Masters Awards.
Today I work between my Santorini home and Sydney Australia, my original hometown.
As you may have noticed, I love to travel, and thankfully destination weddings have become extremely popular. I am incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to capture weddings in some amazing places, all thanks to the lovely couples I meet, who entrust me with their big day.
I photograph a diverse range of weddings from two people eloping in Santorini, to grand ballroom events with hundreds of people, and even weddings that have lasted for days. So, to me no wedding is too small or too big no matter which corner of the world it takes place in.
